Establishment of policies and procedures

Lander Consulting works with your board and senior staff to update and⁄or develop the policies and procedures to ensure that you have a practical governance structure to achieve objectives in the most efficient and effective manner. This includes the development of key performance measures to enable the board to monitor the organisation and its performance.

Board recruitment

Board recruitment is often a case of ‘who knows who?’ rather than searching for the right person with the governance skills and background needed to enhance the Board’s capabilities. Lander Consulting uses a structured approach to identify the skill set best suited to meet the board’s needs and then to professionally recruit board members.

Board-staff relationships

All not for profit organisations are dependent on the trust and partnership between the board and its professional staff. This partnership works best when the roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and agreed and appropriate procedures are in place.
