Berg Family Foundation
The Berg Family Foundation, a Private Ancillary Fund, engaged Lander and Associates Consulting Pty Ltd in July 2005 to assist it to transition its administration from a management company to a new corporate trustee structure. This involved developing a strategy to seamlessly make the transition, developing governance structures and policies and mentoring the directors of the corporate trustee to a point of self management.
The process was complex and involved coordinating the consultant’s work with other advisers and the trustees. Ken Lander’s understanding of the tasks involved, the best options to achieve the Foundation’s objectives and his sensitivity to the aspirations of the directors were invaluable through this time.
Due to Lander and Associates efforts the Foundation was well equipped after twelve months to stand on its own feet.

Children’s Cancer Institute Australia for Medical Research
Ken Lander of Lander and Associates Consulting Pty Ltd, worked with our Marketing Director, between July 2005 and December 2006, to establish and implement Children’s Cancer Institute Australia for Medical Research’s Major Gifts' Program.
During Ken’s time at the Institute, he researched and developed the Major Gifts' Strategy and Program and established the foundations for its ongoing activities, developing the case for giving.
Ken was also responsible for identifying Major Gift prospects and donors, undertaking direct solicitation and during this period raised $550,000 for the Institute.

Council for Jewish Community Security Pty Ltd
Lander and Associates Consulting Pty Ltd (LC) was retained by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and Council for Jewish Community Security (NSW) Pty Ltd to undertake a major capital appeal in 2008 to provide funding for a range of physical security upgrades for communal buildings throughout the NSW Jewish community.
Working with a small committee, LC was required to build a fundraising structure that ultimately resulted in a successful campaign. Under the professional leadership of Ken Lander, a comprehensive strategy covering all aspects from branding and marketing collateral to volunteers and events was mapped out and successfully implemented.

Together for Humanity Foundation
The Together for Humanity Foundation Ltd (formerly the Goodness and Kindness Foundation) is an acclaimed, independent multi-faith organisation working throughout Australia with children and their educators to build social cohesion through an understanding and respect for difference.
Lander and Associates Consulting Pty Ltd was approached in January 2006 to assist the Foundation, on a pro bono basis, to obtain tax deductibility (DGR status) and put in place appropriate governance and management policies and procedures.
Having successfully obtained DGR status, Ken Lander agreed to be a responsible person for our Public Gift Fund, subsequently became a director and was recently elected Chairperson of the Board.
